At Home - Orange Shirt Kits

Service Description

In recognition of Orange Shirt Day and the ongoing journey of reconciliation, join us for a meaningful Orange Shirt Making activity. This take-home activity allows you to create your own orange shirt with personal designs and messages that honour the importance of Every Child Matters. We’ll provide all the materials, including a plain orange shirt, fabric paint, and paint brushes. By wearing an orange shirt you show your support and reflection about the history of residential schools and express your solidarity through art. Please note that spots for this drop-in are limited. Groups with multiple people may need to share a kit depending on the number of kits available. Please RSVP no later than September 25,2024 IMPORTANT - During sign up, please provide the delivery address and any additional instructions for drop off that our volunteers would need to know. YRAP's Drop-Ins are a FREE program open to all youth in the Edmonton area. You do not need to be in YRAP's restorative justice program to participate. YRAP's drop-in program is run up to four times a month by our drop-in coordinator and a team of volunteers, with a rotation of in-person and at-home activities.

Cancellation Policy

If you require assistance arranging transportation for in-person drop-ins, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance of the date of your drop-in . YRAP cannot guarantee assistance with transportation to participants who provide less than 48 hours notice. To cancel with less than 24 hours notice, please contact us directly. All drop-in related inquiries and cancellations may be directed to dropin@yrap.org
