Research Committee

The Research Committee partners with academic and community partners to collaborate in producing research on restorative justice and the criminal justice system.

What is the Research Committee?

YRAP’s Research Committee aims to create a low-stakes environment for volunteers to engage in research.

In collaboration with universities, non-profits, and internal YRAP members, the research committee provides opportunities for volunteers to gain hands-on research experience using qualitative and quantitative methods. Volunteers also have the opportunity to attend workshops to learn about various research methods and methodologies.

This committee is ideal for those who want to get involved in research and support YRAP and its youth.

Previous research experience is an asset, but is not required.
